SPEED UP SPRINTS
Course starts in spring 2019.
Info: This course will improve your sprints and starts. We will teach you the correct techniques in order to make running more efficient and less tiring. The faster you get the better you perform. When you know that you can match your dog’s speed, you can make the ideal handling choices and even change direction on the go if needed.
Length: 8 Weeks
Typical Week: 2 sessions. The drills include jumps, elasticity, 30 to 100 metre sprints.
Requirements: 100m of space for the drills (ideally a gymnasium or a sports field). The main thing is that the ground is firm enough.
Level of fitness: (suitability) intermediate and advanced*
Keyworks: agility, elasticity, running technique, speed, start, sprint, spurt, acceleration
*beginner – hardly any physical activity in everyday life, intermediate – training once or twice a week, and advanced – regular target-oriented exercise.
